Mr Mark Sumner

Non-Executive Director

Mark is the founder and managing director of Kiwanda Group LLC, a US-based venture capital business, providing funding and business development to natural resource companies in Latin America. Mark established Bifox through his initial identification and securing all Bahia Inglesa Caldera based mining and adjacent KI exploration tenements. Through Kiwanda Group, Mark has co-founded, funded and sponsored resource company stock market listings on the LSE-AIM, TSX(V) and the ASX.

Mark is also the founder of Kiwanda Copper, which was acquired by Valor Resources (previously Carajas Copper Company) in 2016, as Executive Chairman, Mark lead the acquisition of the Berenguela Polymetallic project from SSR Mining Inc. Mark is a founder and Executive Director of Daura Capital Corp, a Canadian Capital Pool Company listing on the TSX(V) with the objective of acquiring gold assets in Latin America. Prior to founding Kiwanda Group, Mr. Sumner was an investment specialist at Madison Avenue Financial Group, a private wealth boutique based in Portland, OR

Mr Tim Koster

Executive Director

Mr Koster is an investment banking and business development professional with over 30 years of experience.  He has a strong track record of establishing, financing and developing investment and operational businesses.  Mr Koster established Azure Water and Energy Infrastructure Fund focused on Middle East water and energy utility assets.  He also established Convergence Capital, a structured finance and business development investment bank, based in Australia and the Dubai International Finance Centre.  Tim has funded several acquisitions and divestments of mining assets in Australia and China whilst also funding Agribusiness assets. Tim has been involved in Bifox Ltd’s Pre IPO and corporate IPO funding arrangements including development of the phosphate production and agribusiness fertilizer marketing programs.

Mr Rolando Tinoco

Chief Financial Officer

Mr Tinoco is an Industrial Engineer and Fellow of CPA with over 30 years of Australian and international experience in executive and Company Secretary roles in the resources, construction, property development and finance industries across a diverse range of commercial, financial and operational activities. He possesses a multi-commodity experience including gold, silver, copper and coal in South America, South East Asia and Australia. Prior to joining Bifox he was with the former ASX listed company Indochine Mining Ltd and its operations in PNG and previously with the ASX listed company Rey Resources Ltd with its diversified interests and in particular resources in Chile and Western Australia.

Mr Tinoco holds a Bachelor of Industrial Engineer degree from the University of Lima, a Master of Applied Finance (MAppFin) from Kaplan, Fellow of the Australian Certified Practicising Accountant (FCPA Australia), member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (MAusIMM) and the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD), Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia (FGIA), and other postgraduate achievements from the University of Sydney.

Mr Mauricio Martinez

General Manager

Mr. Martinez is a Mining Engineer with more than 30 years of continuous experience in general management, management of mine operations, technical services management planning and operation of mines including open pit, underground operations small, medium and large. Most recently at Compañia Minera San Geronimo as Manager of Tugal Operaciones & Talcuna (Chile), Responsible for all operations and engineering with an emphasis on the operations of the underground mine to increase production levels and implementing the continuous improvement of all operations. Producing 120,000 tonnes per month of concentrate Cu and Ag with 700 people employed. Prior to that General Manager with Minera Dayton where he established long-term production plans, including large scale mining of gold and copper.

Mr. Martinez holds a Mining Engineer degree from the University of Atacama, Copiapo- Chile, a Master of Engineering Sciences from the University of Chile, and postgraduate courses in analysis of systems and in computer science applied to mining.

Mr Murray Brooker

Geologist- Consultant

Mr Murray Brooker is a geological consultant and hydrogeologist with extensive experience in industrial minerals, in addition to commodities such as copper, gold, zinc, coal, nickel and geothermal energy. Mr Brooker has acquired extensive experience in industrial minerals working on exploration programs and undertaking resource estimates on projects that include lithium brines, hard rock lithium pegmatite deposits, potash salt lake deposits, borates, gypsum sands, and frac sand.

Mr Brooker has 26 years’ experience in the mining industry in exploration, resource definition, project feasibility studies and consulting roles, where he was the principal geologist for resource evaluations and independent reviews of ASX and TSX listed companies. Mr Brooker is the Principal Geologist of Hydrominex Geoscience, a Sydney-based geological consultancy, and previously worked for Australian and International mining and exploration companies and for international engineering consultancies.

Mr Brooker is a fluent Spanish-speaker who has worked extensively in Australia and in South America since 1994, principally in Chile and Argentina. He has acted as the JORC Competent Person for ASX listed companies and as the Qualified Person for NI 43-101 reporting for Canadian companies overseeing all elements of quality control associated with exploration and development programs.

Mr Rosendo Puig

Geologist - Consultant

Rosendo Puig is an Exploration Geologist with 30 years of global experience, principally in copper-molybdenum and copper-gold and gold projects. Rosendo holds a Master of Science postgraduate degree in Minerals Exploration from Rhodes University, South Africa.

Mr Puig has been involved in projects in Australia, South America, Asia, Spain, Mozambique, and USA. This has strengthened his ability to assess and evaluate a wide range of prospects in different geological and business environments. As a Chilean Rosendo has extensive knowledge of Chilean geology.

Mr Puig has production experience in Gold Quarry, a Newmont Mining open pit (Carlin, USA) and underground at El Salvador, Chile. Rosendo also has experience in open pit, underground, brownfields exploration and resource drilling in Archean gold projects in the Agnew Gold Mine and St Ives-Lake Lefroy trend, Kambalda, Kalgoorlie, Goldfields

Mr Puig has also been in the business development leadership for Antofagasta Minerals in Australasia, building agreements and Joint ventures, also leading the quality control and evaluation of historical geological data supporting resource estimation programs.
